Terms & Conditions

The terms of using projects.omaralghafri.com and ordering custom software development services from Omar Coder (Oman).

Version 2026-11-03 — updated November 3, 2026

1. Acceptance and scope

Omar Coder — Omar Al-Ghafri, a software developer licensed in the Sultanate of Oman (business license No. L3949690). These terms govern the use of this website and the ordering of our services. The specific obligations for your project — scope, price, schedule, revisions, warranty and intellectual property — are fixed in the service contract issued to you and signed electronically; that signed contract prevails over these general terms.

2. Our services

  • Custom software development: websites, applications, and tailored programming projects.
  • Related services offered on the site: fixed-scope website packages, hosting and maintenance subscriptions, and domain registration assistance.

3. Quotations and contract formation

Prices and durations shown in the wizard are estimates based on what you describe. The engagement becomes binding when the service contract is issued and signed. Electronic signing is valid between the parties under the Omani Electronic Transactions Law (Royal Decree 39/2025); the Arabic version of the contract is the binding one.

4. Client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete information and materials (content, access credentials, licences) needed for the work.
  • Respond to questions and approvals within a reasonable time; delays affect the schedule as set out in the contract.
  • Ensure that materials you supply do not infringe third-party rights, and use the delivered software lawfully.

5. Scope, milestones and change requests

The project scope and its milestones are defined in the contract and its annex. Requests that fall outside that scope are handled as documented change requests (contract amendments) with their agreed effect on time and price before the extra work begins. Revisions are counted as stated in the contract or the selected package.

6. Payment obligations

  • Fees are in Omani Rial (OMR) unless a USD quote was issued and accepted for payments from outside Oman.
  • Payments are made through the site's payment gateways (Thawani, OMPAY/TruePay, PayPal) against the references shown on your payment page and receipts.
  • Instalments, hosting and maintenance charges follow the schedule in the contract; access to continuing services may be paused while amounts remain overdue, as set out in the contract.

7. Delivery and acceptance

Delivery is digital, as described in the Service Delivery Policy. The contract specifies the acceptance window and the objection procedure; formal acceptance (or the expiry of the objection window) completes the project for payment purposes.

8. Intellectual property

Ownership of the custom deliverables transfers as set out in the signed contract (typically upon full payment). We retain our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how. Unless agreed otherwise, we may reference the delivered work in our portfolio.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use the website or request software for unlawful purposes, including content or functionality that infringes rights, is fraudulent, or violates Omani law (including the Penal Code and the Cybercrime Law). We may decline or cancel engagements that require unlawful work.

10. Cancellation, refunds and disputes

Cancellation and refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Disputes are resolved first in good faith through the support portal. These terms and all engagements are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the Omani courts have jurisdiction.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability under an engagement is limited as set out in the signed contract; nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. The website itself is provided "as is" for preparing requests and contracts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these general terms; the version date below changes accordingly. Engagements remain governed by the signed contract. For any question or request related to this policy, contact us through the support portal on this website (the "Support" page). We reply through the same channel.
